Tuesday's How to Choose Your Size and Understand Your Pattern
Class times:
Tuesday at 4 pm
February 4th, 11th, 18th 25th, March 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
Until you have gained some experience, knowing what size to choose for your pattern can be very overwhelming. All of those lines can be intimidating, and what to do if your measurements land you across multiple sizes? (This is how it is for most people!). This free and informative class will give you the confidence to know how to take your own measurements and how to translate that information to your pattern. We will also discuss the various markings and information inside a sewing pattern and how to transfer them to your fabric.
This class is suitable for all levels. Whether you need a refresher, or your body has changed and you want some support knowing where to begin or you have never sew before, all are welcome.
Supplies:
I will have a pattern to demonstrate, but I recommend bringing your own pattern in order to put what you are learning to use right away.
Note:
This class takes place on Tuesdays throughout the month. You are welcome to attend more than one if you find it helpful, but the same information will be presented each week.
